el capitan in gold

El Capitan in Gold is an oil on gallery wrapped canvas. It depicts the famous Yosemite monolith at the brief time between night and day, lit up in gold, orange and rose. Alpenglow touches the tips of the tallest trees and seems to reflect throughout the landscape. The whisper of night hangs in the shadows.
