Slender and delicate, Ribbon Falls drops 1612 feet from the north rim of Yosemite Valley. It is just to the west of El Capitan, and runs seasonally from spring to summer. Not as well known as the iconic Yosemite or Bridalveil Falls, it is nonetheless beautiful and ethereal.
